Warehouse Supervisor

Purpose of the Job

The role is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of warehouse activities by overseeing day-to-day logistics processes, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting timely inbound and outbound operations.

Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations 

• Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stocktaking activities. 
• Monitor inbound and outbound operations to meet services level and delivery requirements. 
• Handle return, reverse logistics if required.

People and Operations Supervision 

• Supervise and assign tasks to warehouse operators.
• Monitor manpower utilization, productivity and operational efficiency.
• Enforce standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and on the job discipline. 

Safety, Compliance & Housekeeping 

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, forklift operation, and warehouse regulations. 
• Maintain a clean, well-organized and safe working environment. 
• Report and follow up on operational issues, damages or safety incidents. 

System

• Ensure accurate and timely system transactions in WMS. 
• Prepare operational reports i.e GR, inventory, GI, transaction. 

Requirements

• Diploma or above in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related disciplines. 
• At least 5 years of relevant warehouse or logistics experience. 
• Hands on experience in inventory control, picking, dispatch, and daily warehouse operations. 
• Familiar with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic Microsoft Office tools. 
• Holder of valid Forklift license is an advantage. 
• Good communication and people supervision skills.
