Service Manager

Purpose of the Job

Oversees the operation of the Service Centre and achieves the reasonable operating profit and maintains customer satisfaction standards.

Responsibilities

  • Directs the work activities of service and workshop staff, including their observance of deadlines and productivity levels, and assist the After Sales Manager in workforce planning and performance evaluation
  • Builds and maintains good relations with the customers, to encourage their loyalty and obtain their recommendations
  • Makes sure the execution and application of Porsche Service Process with good quality standard, and improve the competence of service and workshop staff
  • Maintain a high quality repair service and reduces returns to the shop
  • Encourages employees and/or provides them with technical training and refers them to appropriate training schools, as well as the technical support for the workshop
  • Manages the work environment and facility of the workshop and make sure the equipment works effectively
  • Maintains efficient communications within the departments, as well as between departments

Requirements

  • University graduate in Business / Engineering is preferred
  • At least 6 years after sales experience in Automotive Service with at least 3 years at supervisory level
  • Experience in German vehicles is an advantage
  • Previous experience in dealing with clients on after sales service and complaints
  • Good spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
  • Hands-on PC skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Self-motivated, good interpersonal and communication skill
  • Able to work under pressure and customer oriented
