Senior Sales & Marketing Manager

Purpose of the Job

The role will be accountable for the P&L of distribution (Pet Hong Kong), leading a crossfunctional sales and marketing team to drive market penetration through channel expansion, key account growth, and ROIpositive trade and consumer activation, with accountability for revenue and gross margin.

Responsibilities

  • Translate principal brand direction into local Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy, including product segmentation and positioning, pricing, promotion and channel segment (wholesales, retailers, E-commerce/ marketplaces and trade).
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with both pet chain retailing clients and boutique pet stores while grow strategic accounts for business expansion
  • Negotiate contract terms with key clients including rebate level and volume discounts
  • Conduct accurate sales forecast and propose pricing strategy to minimize stockouts and obsolescence
  • Plan and execute marketing and branding plan to enhance branding presence with measurable KPIs
  • Track competitors, pricing, promotions, and shelf/search dynamics; recommend counter moves and assortment/pricing actions.
  • Explore and identify potential opportunities for long term business development

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 12 - 15 years of sales & marketing experience; experience in pet industry will be an advantage
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and executing effective marketing campaigns.
  • Demonstrated “roll up the sleeves” mentality with a hands on approach to solving problems and delivering results
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
