Senior Investment Operations Analyst

Purpose of the Job

The Senior Investment Operations Analyst's role is to provide operational support for Liquid Assets investment activities. The job entails managing daily investment operations, developing and implementing strategies and policies, collaborating with investment teams, and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in investment-related processes. The role will identify process improvements, stay up to date on industry regulations, and deliver timely reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational support for the Liquid Assets investment activities:
• Manage daily investment operations, ensuring efficient and accurate execution of investment transactions including cash management, trade booking, positions and transactions reconciliation between custodians and brokers, etc.
• Develop and implement investment operations policies and procedures to optimize operational efficiency and minimize risks.
• Collaborate with investment teams, portfolio managers, and traders to ensure seamless execution of investment strategies.
• Monitor and reconcile investment data, including trade settlements, corporate actions, and cash flows, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with external custodians, brokers, and other service providers to facilitate investment-related processes, including account openings, transfers, and reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
• Stay updated with industry regulations, market trends, and best practices related to investment operations.
• Collaborate with compliance and risk management teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Provide timely and accurate investment operations reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Supporting KYC and onboarding matters;
• Supporting fund admin tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s degree, preferably in accounting, finance, data analytics or related discipline;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a related role in an asset management or private investment business (hedge fund; multi-family office); ideally can demonstrate experience as a self-driving team member;
• Diligent and thorough, detail-oriented, entrepreneurial, energetic and comfortable with autonomy, a team player.
• Proven experience in investment operations.
• Strong knowledge of investment products, financial instruments, and market practices.
• Familiarity with investment management systems, trading platforms, and portfolio accounting software, experience with Enfusion as primary OMS/PMS highly advantageous
• Proficient in data analysis and reconciliation techniques, with excellent attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks, compliance requirements, and risk management principles in the investment industry.
• Strong communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve operational issues.
• Full professional fluency in English.
