Senior Financial Analyst

Purpose of the Job
To support Group-level financial planning and analysis activities, including management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation and variance analysis, while ensuring accurate and timely financial information for Group Management decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Perform management accounting functions including various reporting, budgeting, forecasting (esp. system uploading) and financial analysis on regular or ad hoc basis
- Support in consolidation of Group budget / forecasts. Liaise with the finance teams of business lines and group functions on mainly system-uploading matters
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand data needs and ensure timely information flow
- Prepare and present financial analysis to Group Management to support business decisions
- Support the preparation of month-end and year-end closing
- Conduct variance analyses on Group / Business Lines KPIs
- Perform ad-hoc analyses and additional related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Degree holder in accounting or finance related disciplines
- Professional qualification in HKICPA / ACCA or equivalent is an advantage
- 5 -7 years' experience in management accounting financial analysis role in a medium-to-large
sizedorganization - Experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience in MS Excel, PowerPoint. Experience with Excel add‑ins such as Power Pivot and Power Query is an advantage
- Knowledge of Oracle ERP system and management reporting tools e.g. Qilk view / Power BI are an advantage
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights
- Good team player
- Strong sense of responsibility, able to work under pressure with tight deadline
- Candidates with more experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
