Senior Business Planning Analyst

Purpose of the Job

The Senior Business Planning Analyst will work within the Revenue Growth Management (RGM) in Jebsen Beverage, reporting to the manager of RGM. 

As a Senior Business Planning Analyst, you will act as deputy to the RGM Manager. Play a key role in supporting the RGM Manager in executing revenue planning, monitoring sales performance, and managing commission processes. 

Works well in a team environment, this person needs to have an enthusiastic character in problem solving, with detail oriented and analytical mind set.  

Responsibilities

  • Support business planning cycles by building target models, running reforecasting, monitoring performance, and driving corrective actions across channels.
  • Conduct customer and territory segmentation, providing tools and insights to optimize mapping, territory sizing, coverage, and execution standards.
  • Drive promotion and sales optimization, including promotion management, sales mix improvement, profitability analysis, and margin enhancement.
  • Provide pricing analytics and frameworks, including pricing architecture development, price elasticity analysis, and pack/assortment optimization.
  • Develop and enhance analytical tools and dashboards (e.g., Power BI) to track sales, promotional ROI, customer engagement, and key commercial metrics.
  • Ensure high-quality data and system accuracy, partnering with IT/BI to automate workflows, maintain master data, and document key business processes/SOPs.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to align strategies, resource allocation, and execution plans.

Requirements

  • Qualifications include a university degree and 4–6 years of experience in Sales Planning, Revenue Growth Management, or Commercial Excellence.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in Excel and BI tools; experience with SPM/ERP systems preferred.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills; ability to act as deputy leader when required.
  • Have ownership and commitment in all assigned tasks; ask for support if there are any unresolved challenges or difficulties.
