Sales Representative

Purpose of the Job

The incumbent, reporting to the Wholesales Manager, is responsible for actively promoting company products and driving wholesales business by identifying new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to achieve the sales target and growth. 

Responsibilities

- Actively promote company products to retail stores, pet shops, and veterinary clinics
- Identify and prospect new clients, and manage and grow relationships with existing accounts to achieve sales targets and growth 
- Be the primary point of contact for the assigned and new clients in driving sales 
- Handle orders and quotations, and monitor delivery arrangements to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment
- Participate in trade shows and promotional events to identify potential clients and build brand awareness
- Assist in creating basic promotional materials 
- Conduct marketing research and competitor analysis to evaluate trends and opportunities
- Prepare sales reports and monitor sales record of key accounts
- Perform ad-hoc duties as required to business needs

Requirements

- Higher Diploma or above with 1-2 years of experience in the sales or wholesales field, exposure to the pet industry would be an advantage 
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with ability to manage multiple tasks
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), able to design graphic with Canva is a plus 
- Good command in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
