Purpose of the Job
The Marketing Intern provides essential administrative support to the marketing department, contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of marketing initiatives. This role involves coordinating marketing activities, managing quotation & payment, maintaining databases, and handling various administrative tasks. The Marketing Assistant plays a crucial role in facilitating effective communication, ensuring organizational efficiency, and supporting the overall marketing efforts.
Responsibilities
Marketing Communications
- Assist in executing CRM program to enlarge membership database, and social media on regular material preparation and competitor review.
- Coordinate both online & offline advertising and promotional campaigns with agencies to ensure smooth implementation of the campaigns, event planning and operations.
- Stay abreast of media updates and trends, share new insights and recommendations.
Promotions and event management
- Assist in the planning and coordination of events, from concept to execution, e.g. create and maintain detailed event plans and timelines.
- Assist in calculating event profit and loss, ensuring financial viability, and understanding the underlying concepts.
- Collaborate with different parties and prepare materials, including promotional and informational items, to ensure events run smoothly.
Channel Marketing
- Support on-site event management, tactical promotions and the execution of trade and consumer promotion programs, trade incentive and loyalty program redemption processes and evaluate the effectiveness.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess performance and identify improvement areas.
- Assist with beer POSM displays and consumer engagement activities with providing insights and ideas to enhance visibility, coordinating roaming teams across outlets and prepare promotion mechanics in bilingual.
- Support on any ad-hoc assignments if needed.
Requirements
- Diploma or above in marketing, business administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Proven experience in an administrative or support role, preferably in a marketing or related department.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications (e.g. Facebook Ads, Google Analytics, Photoshop, AI, PowerBI, etc.) is a plus.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data management and reporting.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Adaptability and flexibility to handle changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
