Key Account Manager

Purpose of the Job


  • Report to the Head of Key Account in achieving key business objectives for the designated key accounts (off-premises) 
  • Formulate and execute strategic account plan and marketing calendar for the assigned key accounts to drive sales and profitable growth with good instore execution excellence
  • Develop and maintain good relationship with Key Account Chains at all levels
  • Maximize instore brand visibility, distribution, merchandising and planogram enhancement 
  • Responsible for assigned channel P&L, manage trade spend, evaluate promotion performance & effectiveness and ROI analysis
  • Work closely with Trade Marketing, Brand Team and Principal on executing brand activations at right brand positioning 
  • Work closely with Sales Operation Team, Supply Chain Team, Finance Team to manage Key Account inventory, by SKU demand forecast, profitability analysis
  • Obtain market information of competitors and latest trends


  • Degree holder or above in Business Administration or related disciplines
  • At least 5-6 years’ experience in FMCG in modern trade (KA) in a sizeable company
  • Experience in Supermarket, CVS, or beverage category is preferred
  • Organized, advanced planning and open-minded to changes
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills with positive mindset
  • Able to work in a fast-paced work environment and manage ambiguity with flexibility
  • Good analytical skill with business acumen
