Purpose of the Job

This role will work under Strategic Projects team in Hong Kong to support the Jebsen Group CEO and senior management on high-priority initiatives that drive business growth and strategy. He/she will have the unique opportunity to collaborate closely with senior leaders, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to projects that have a direct impact on the Group’s growth and success.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Strategic Projects team driving cross-functional special projects, including:
    • Conducting market research and analyses for potential M&A targets
    • Supporting due diligence processes for ongoing transactions in tandem with our in-house investment team and external partners
    • Helping with the development and structuring of commercial partnership proposals as well as business planning
    • Solving various strategic problems across Jebsen Group together with business line leaders
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with stakeholders from both within and outside of Jebsen Group
  • Conduct research and analyses on business-relevant topics, such as industry trends, competitor analysis, and market sizing
  • Support the preparation of executive-level materials, including presentations, briefings, and dashboards

Requirements

  • Current undergraduates in any field with at least 6 semesters completed / postgraduate degree students
  • Proven internship experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, transaction advisory, investment management, or corporate development is highly desirable
  • Strong curiosity for corporate strategy and existing commercial sense, with a demonstrated interest in business and finance
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in data analysis and visualization
  • Strong problem-solving skill and prioritize workstreams under competing timelines, with a strong attention to detail and superior organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distil complex ideas into clear and concise language
  • Full professional fluency in English is required; additional proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese as well as German is a significant plus, but not mandatory
  • Must be available to commit to a 3–6-month full-time internship at Hong Kong office
