The General Manager, Innovation and Strategy plays a pivotal leadership role in shaping the future direction of Jebsen Motors. This role is accountable for driving strategic innovation, leading Business Line level transformation initiatives, and establishing a culture that encourages experimentation and forward‑thinking solutions. By identifying opportunities ahead of market trends, the position holder ensures that Jebsen Motors strengthens its competitive advantage, accelerates growth in both existing and new business areas, and enhances overall operational effectiveness.
The role holder oversees the development and execution of strategic plans, the design and implementation of innovative ideas, and the rationalisation of solutions that align with business and innovation goals. It also acts as a key advisor and strategic partner to the Managing Director on matters related to innovation, business development and long‑term strategic positioning.

1. Strategic Leadership & Business Innovation
- Lead the formulation and execution of Jebsen Motors’ long-term business strategy to support Managing Director's vision.
- Create innovative processes, products, solutions, and business models in anticipation of market trends, covering both internal operational efficiencies and external client offerings. 
- Introduce disruptive ideas to transform operations, enhance scalability, and strengthen competitive positioning.
- Develop and rationalize solutions through structured research, design and testing of innovative concepts.

2. Business Development & Market Expansion
- Identify and evaluate new growth opportunities, including partnerships and new business ventures.
- Conduct feasibility studies, market assessments, and financial analyses for strategic initiatives.
- Enhance Jebsen Motors’ industry visibility and strategic positioning.

3. Strategic Project Leadership
- Lead and govern major business transformation initiatives and strategic projects.
- Oversee project planning, execution, milestone tracking and adherence to budget and timelines.
- Implement standardized project management frameworks to improve efficiency and outcomes.

4. Market Intelligence & Strategic Advisory
- Act as an internal expert on automotive trends, regulatory developments, OEM movements, digital mobility innovations and industry shifts.
- Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions and competitive differentiation.
- Represent Jebsen Motors as a thought leader in innovation and transformation.

5. Change Leadership & Innovation Culture Development
- Build and oversee an innovation culture that encourages experimentation, ensures access to resources and empowers employees to contribute to innovation activities. 
- Introduce innovation tools, processes and frameworks to encourage and support innovation and continuous improvement across the organization.

- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 15-18 years of experience in automotive, strategy, innovation, or business development roles.
- Demonstrated success in leading strategic initiatives and innovation programs.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and entrepreneurial mindset with proven innovation leadership.
- Excellent decision-making, negotiation, financial and commercial acumen.
- Strong project governance and management skills.
- Ability to engage and influence cross-functional and cross-cultural stakeholders.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in Mandarin and English.
- Strong capability in fostering innovation culture and leading change.
- Willingness to travel.
