Finance and Accounting Intern

Purpose of the Job


This internship offers a unique opportunity to:
1. Gain hands-on experience in Tax and Treasury operations within an MNC;
2. Develop financial, accounting, tax and banking knowledge; and
3. Enhance presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills to boost future career prospects.
 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily treasury operations;
  • Assist in bank accounts maintenance and related documentations;
  • Assist in data analysis for preparation of tax and treasury reports, documentation;
  • Conduct basic financial analysis for and relating to treasury and tax;
  • Support preparation of various tax returns and computations;
  • Support tax transactions review to ensure correct tax treatments applied consistently;
  • Assist in tax automation projects; and
  • Assist in other tax and treasury related ad hoc tasks.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields is preferred, other disciplines maybe considered on a case-by-case basis;
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools;
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities;
  • Interest in taxation, treasury management and financial operations;
  • Responsible, self-initiative, and well organized; and
  • Multi-tasking under pressure, good time management.
