Finance Manager, Group Accounting

Purpose of the Job

This position will supervise and ensure the accuracy and productivity of our shared services team. By managing the teams in charge of accounts payable and receivable, and liaising with outside auditors. In addition to ensuring that our financial procedures run smoothly, this role is responsible for strong financial leadership and continuous improvement of financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to perform month-end closing of Business Lines;
• Oversee the AR and AP teams;
• Liaise / co-ordinate with external auditors for statutory audit;
• Prepare the annual tax return of Business Lines;
• Assist in streamlining workflow processes and resolving operational pain points;
• Perform ad-hoc assignments, if required

Requirements

• University graduate in Accounting or Business Administration
• Professional qualification of HKICPA, ACCA or equivalent is a MUST
• Minimum 6 years' experience with at least 2 years’ in managerial role, experience in retail industry will be an advantage 
• Solid knowledge of accounting standards in HK
• Experience in shared service is an advantage
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin
• Good communication skills
• Proactive and able to work under pressure and independently
• Hands-on experience in MS Excel
• Knowledge in use of Oracle is an advantage
