FP&A Analyst

Purpose of the Job

The position holder will support FP&A activities by delivering timely financial reporting, analysis, and KPI monitoring to aid business decisions. The position holder also collaborates with various internal stakeholders and produces presentation materials for effective communication.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports, quarterly forecasts and annual budget reporting packages
  • Assist in developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for identification of improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand data needs and ensure timely information flow
  • Analyze financial data and perform variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, and historical data
  • Create presentation decks to support communication and decision-making processes
  • Support the preparation of month-end and year-end closing
  • Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis requests

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting, or related disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or relevant finance functions; Experience in Retail, FMCG, or Consumer Goods is an advantage
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Experience with Excel add‑ins such as Power Pivot and Power Query is an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of Oracle and QlikView
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
