Purpose of the Job

This role will support the daily operations and growth initiatives of the Q-Pets E-Commerce business, primarily on Shopify. The intern will assist in product management, promotional execution, customer support coordination, and content development to enhance the overall online shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Create and update product listings (titles, descriptions, pricing, images, inventory) and maintain website content, product collections and tags.
  • Set up and test promotions such as discount codes, automatic discounts, BOGO, and free gifts before launch.
  • Assist in handling customer cases (returns, refunds, order tracking, inquiries) and coordinate with internal teams for resolution in a timely manner.
  • Support invoice processing and other basic administrative tasks.
  • Conduct market research on competitors’ pricing, promotions, and new products to identify market trends.
  • Assist in preparing design briefs (banner dimensions, copy, mood references) for the design team, and reviewing drafts for accuracy (e.g. spelling, pricing, dates, offers).
  • Research content for product introductions, blog posts, and brand storytelling.
  • Assist in ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate in Marketing, E-Commerce, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
  • Prior intern experience or exposure on e-commerce platforms / Shopify is an advantage
  • Basic copywriting skills is a plus
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese).
