Brand Marketing Intern

Purpose of the Job

The Marketing Intern provides essential administrative support to the marketing department, contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of marketing initiatives. This role involves coordinating marketing activities, managing quotation & payment, maintaining databases, and handling various administrative tasks. The Marketing Assistant plays a crucial role in facilitating effective communication, ensuring organizational efficiency, and supporting the overall marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

Brand Marketing

  • Support the production, adaptation, and rollout of marketing and communication materials across channels, ensuring brand consistency and timely delivery.
  • Assist with event planning and on‑site execution, including logistics coordination, vendor liaison, setup, registration management, and operational support.
  • Consolidate post‑event feedback, conduct basic data analysis, and support performance reporting to evaluate campaign and activation effectiveness.  

Promotions and event management

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of events, from concept to execution, e.g. create and maintain detailed event plans and timelines.
  • Assist in calculating event profit and loss, ensuring financial viability, and understanding the underlying concepts.
  • Collaborate with different parties and prepare materials, including promotional and informational items, to ensure events run smoothly.

Requirements

  • Diploma or above in marketing, business administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Proven experience in an administrative or support role, preferably in a marketing or related department.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications (e.g. Facebook Ads, Google Analytics, Photoshop, AI, PowerBI, etc.) is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data management and reporting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to handle changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Immediate available is preferable
