Purpose of the Job
This position will support our Group Treasury team, be responsible for supporting financial operations, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, and ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of financial transactions.
Responsibilities
- Help with daily cash flow, including accounts payable, bank reconciliation, and assisting with month-end closing procedures.
- Collaborate with various departments and financial institutions to facilitate payment processes and ensure accurate bookkeeping.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of foreign exchange transactions.
- Assist in the administration of e-banking systems.
- Support the maintenance of bank accounts and perform KYC (Know Your Customer) tasks.
- Complete assigned ad-hoc tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Possess a diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, with knowledge of Oracle accounting system considered a plus.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, Chinese, and Mandarin.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Assistant Accountant position.
